CTIA - The Wireless Association® and its members companies believe that all consumers should have equal access to wireless communications, and the industry is committed to providing disabled consumers with the most advanced technologies, and a better understanding of how disabled consumers might find them especially useful. Access Wireless will serve as your source to give you, the consumer, a greater understanding of the wireless industry and some of those elements about wireless technology that people with disabilities may find especially useful. Specifically, Access Wireless will provide you with information to help you select the best wireless device for your disability, provide you with information on new wireless products and answer your questions on what the wireless industry is doing to better meet your needs.

The great benefits of wireless phones are mobility and convenience. These are incredibly important features for everyone and especially for people with disabilities because they translate to freedom, empowerment and safety. The wireless industry already provides a variety of "easier to use" products and services to many individuals with disabilities and we are committed to making our products and services available to as many people as possible.
