FCC Blog Recognizes Apps Hepling People with Disabilities

Pam Gregory, Director of the FCC’s Accessibility and Innovation Initiative, recently blogged about wireless apps that are helping people with disabilities.
“Apps” are an easy way to add accessibility features to a cell phone, smartphone or wireless device. Easily downloadable to many new phones, apps can connect us to a social network, help us to stay up to date on the latest news or entertain us with games and movies.
Pam Gregory, Director of the FCC’s Accessibility and Innovation Initiative, recently blogged about wireless apps that are helping people with disabilities. Pam says she found a number of apps that had the potential to assist people with most disabilities.
